Jennifer Hazard received her B.A. in English from Providence College, and an M.A. from William Paterson University’s creative writing program. She continued her studies at Southampton College and Stonecoast Writers’ conferences, where she worked with novelists Bharati Mukherjee (The Middleman and Other Stories) and Tom Perrotta (Election and Little Children).
Hazard has developed content for Martha Stewart Living, Toys“R”Us, and most recently, L.L.Bean. In addition, her writing has appeared in regional magazines and newspapers, including Stratton, Maine Food & Lifestyle, Mainebiz and Vermont Life. She has also worked as a columnist for the Portland-based magazine, The Maine Switch and the Portland Press Herald’s parenting magazine Raising Maine. Today, Hazard’s writing appears regularly in the Maine Magazine, as well as on the blog Cute Potato.
Hazard lives in Southern Maine with her husband and two children.
