In addition to writing features for magazines, I'm also specialized in writing copy for the retail industry. My current work at L.L.Bean in Freeport, Maine includes a variety of site updates, including promotional spaces, shopping guides and general content.

I was fortunate to meet Merrill Williams, the editor of Maine Food & Lifestyle, at a Slowfood event in Portland. We chatted for awhile about story ideas, and she assigned me a feature on farmers who raise lamb. Since then, my assignments have taken me to farms and food purveyors throughout Maine.

Stratton Magazine
For over twenty years, Manchester, Vermont has been my second home. I've always loved the farmers, artisans and local food scene. I've written about everything from tree farms to independent radio, and Stratton remains one of my favorite magazines to write for to date.
